Internet Launches KnowledgeBase to All Brands
[1st October 2003]
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct 1, 2003 /PRNewswire
via COMTEX/ -- Affinity Internet, a leading hosting
services provider, has introduced a resource information
portal providing all Affinity brands a centralized place
to locate resources, post feedback, and to exchange
knowledge.
KnowledgeBase functions as an expansion
of the Affinity expert customer support team, supplying
customers with the resources to search for answers and
current information without having to directly call
customer support.
"KnowledgeBase is a very popular
tool with our ValueWeb customers. It was natural to
extend this feature to all of our brands," said
Jim Collins, CMO of Affinity Internet.
The portal provides a flexible search
capability allowing customers to search by keywords,
questions and sentences, article ID and exact word match.
The product additionally incorporates an extensive library
of printable articles written by members of the Affinity
technical support team. The portal permits customers
to share feedback on articles for all members of the
community to read.
There are numerous features KnowledgeBase
possesses including: a frequently asked question section
broken down by subject matter, current top 10 questions
and a glossary of Web hosting terms.
Affinity has been offering KnowledgeBase
to ValueWeb customers and recently released an updated
version. It is a new service for BigStep, HostSave,
SkyNet and Winsave customers.
