Names New Executive Vice President of Marketing and

that it has named Ronan Winter as executive vice president
of marketing and business development.

Before joining Pivotal Software Corporation, Winter
served as vice president of strategic alliances and
marketing for Essential.com. Winter’s specialization
in the Internet industry began in 1997 when he was appointed
director of business development for Lycos, Inc.
