ATLANTA, Nov 25, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE)
-- Interland (INLD) , a leading provider of Web hosting
and online services for small and medium-sized businesses,
today announced the election of John Patrick Crecine
to its board of directors.
"Pat is a true pioneer who brings
an enviable track record of successes in both technology
and public policy to Interland's board of directors,"
said Joel Kocher, chairman and CEO of Interland. "We
look forward to working with him, and know his unique
mix of experience will help us as we continue to break
new ground in how businesses use the power of the Internet
to create online success."
Crecine currently serves as chief executive
officer of B.P.T., Inc. and as chief financial officer
of Islandless Network, LLC. From 1987 to 1994, he served
as president of the Georgia Institute of Technology,

for the Institute, including doubling the African-American
student enrollment and the selection of Georgia Tech's
campus as the location for the 1996 Olympic Village
and the principal venue for five Olympic competitions.
Prior to relocating to Georgia, Crecine
served as senior vice president and provost at Carnegie
Mellon, his alma mater, where he founded the Inter-university
