Daddy Announces New Customer Contact Center and Training
Facility, Pledges Commitment to Stellar Service Amid
Fast Growth [4th November 2003]
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Nov. 4, 2003 – GoDaddy.com
today announced the completion of its new, 11,100 square
foot Customer Contact Center and training facility located
at Go Daddy headquarters on 14455 N. Hayden Rd. Suite
210, in Scottsdale. The new Contact Center houses 125
workstations, a 67 percent increase over the previous
center, and a more than 40 percent increase in square
footage.
What hasn’t changed is Go Daddy’s unwavering
commitment to service and support,
according to Bob Parsons, president and founder, emphasizing
the Customer Contact
Center’s 24/7 availability via phone, email or
Web board.
“Our goal is simple: To provide the best customer
support in the industry,” said Parsons. “We
do this by anticipating our customers’ needs,
going above and beyond the call of service and ongoing,
extensive training of our customer service representatives.
This allows us to continue to provide stellar service
as we increase market share.”
Go Daddy’s steady rise in market share began at
No. 48 in 2000. The company’s
market share ranking accelerated to No. 9 by year-end
2001, to No. 5 in 2002, and to No. 4 this year until
its recent jump to No. 3, according to the Daily Market
Share Report compiled by www.RegistrarSTATS.com. The
report includes total registration of .com, .net, .org,
.info, .biz and .us domain names.
Customer Service Representatives handle various issues
on behalf of GoDaddy.com
and its sister companies, ranging from registering domain
names and setting up hosting accounts, to troubleshooting
technical issues and identifying the products customers
need to simplify their Internet experience. A new Transfer
Concierge Service team helps customers streamline the
process of transferring domain names from another registrar
to Go Daddy.
