The Planet Launches Server Matrix Hosting; Cost Effective Entry Level Managed Hosting Service [19th May 2003]

The dedicated servers are based on Intel processors, not clone hardware, and are packaged with drives, memory, software, and Internet bandwidth for $79, $99, $119, $149, and $199 per month, depending on configuration. Co-location services are offered for $50 to $200 per month. Managed service choices will include Bronze level services free of charge, with other levels available for small monthly fees. Server Matrix customers will be housed in one of The Planet's two state-of-the-art data centers, complete with multiple Tier 1 provider bandwidth and live, 24-hour technical support. This proprietary support portal allows server and bandwidth usage monitoring; support ticket initiation for adds/changes, viewing announcements, graphs, and reporting; and management of customer information and users.
