Verio Launches Enhanced Small to Medium Enterprise -SME- Reseller Partner Training Program [16th May 2003]

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., May 16, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Verio, a subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, today announced its viaVerio Partner Training Program, a web-based training series for its viaVerio partners serving the Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) hosting space. The web seminar series provides new reseller partners a jump-start on key topics of interest to accelerate and simplify the selling process. For the first time, resellers can interact during each webinar one-on-one with members of Verio's staff and with other resellers from around the world.

The series is the latest offering in an extensive collection of resources to empower viaVerio resellers to succeed and grow their businesses. Other key programs include the viaVerio Hosting Reseller Backroom, the SME intranet that enables partners to manage or modify accounts and activate orders in real-time, as well as an extensive marketing library for easy access to search engines, banner exchanges, hosting lists and special offers from various third party companies.

They'll now be able to get immediate answers from our staff about any issues or concerns they have during these online training sessions."

Each webinar includes both a teleconference and web-based content that resellers can view with their Internet browser. Topics covered in the training include program and product overviews; marketing, sales and private label materials; e-mail overview; subhosting overview; viaVerio billing and contact information; as well as a question and answer period.

To continue the growth and support of its SME partner base, Verio's SME hosting unit has also created two distinct groups within its reseller team to provide dedicated account management resources to its reseller partners. The Sales Account Managers will help new Verio resellers sign up to the viaVerio program and help existing resellers with sales related questions and opportunities. Additionally, a Reseller Partner Account Manager team trains new resellers and supports existing resellers on a wide variety of items such as product questions and certain technical support issues. Every reseller will have a dedicated Sales Account Manager and Reseller Account Manager, providing a single group within Verio that is directly focused on their needs. Resellers will benefit by having one-on-one personalized service and a fixed point of contact within Verio.
