Reports Significant Growth and Key Milestones in 2003

BROOKFIELD, Connecticut, December 17,
2003—Web.com, a Web hosting and dedicated server
provider, announced today that it has experienced significant
growth and achieved key milestones in 2003. Among the
company’s achievements is a 200% increase in revenue
over the previous year, numerous awards, and an expanded
service portfolio designed to help organizations more
effectively utilize the Internet.
Web.com’s growth was fueled in
large part by the addition of over 100,000 new domain
name, e-commerce and dedicated server customers. In
order to accommodate the accelerated growth, Web.com
increased the number of servers in its data center by
300% and more than doubled its staff. By automating
their hosting provisioning system, Web.com reduced new
domain processing time from 48 hours down to less than
a minute, and increased network operations, technical
support and administrative efficiency by more than 50%.
Web.com was also awarded several top
honors in the Web hosting industry this year for its
superior customer service and flexible and customizable
solutions. In December, Web.com was voted the number
one hosting company by TopHosts, the premiere Web hosting
resource site. The award was based on rigorous production
testing and user feedback from the hundreds of thousands
