Increased bandwidth, tighter security

BEDFORD,
TX (December 8, 2003) - After only 20 months, C I Host
has doubled the size of its Los Angeles Center and upgraded
its bandwidth capability to meet its ever-expanding
Web hosting and Internet infrastructure business.
At
a time when other Internet-based businesses are cutting
back or shutting down, C I Host has been able to grow
and prosper due to its firm financial footing and focus
on its customer's needs.
"We
are expanding and our client demand is higher than ever,"
said Christopher Faulkner, CEO of C I Host. "While
other co-location facilities have been shutting down,
we continue to grow."
In
addition to doubling the size of the LA facility, C
I Host has installed two more DS-3 connections from
Qwest Communications and Verio and a GigE Connection
from Cogent Communications.
"This
brings our total bandwidth to a capacity that exceeds
1,100mbits/second," Faulkner said. "We are
capable of handling an additional 6,000 clients in our
LA facility, from the smallest to the largest."
To
protect against any physical or electronic attack, C
I Host has installed hot swap Cisco 7206 VXR routers,
added redundant firewall systems and installed additional
biometric security measures. Ten monitored CCTV cameras
that record every movement in the secure facility 24
hours a day. The center is now capable of holding 10,000
clients total.
