2003]
Gulfport, MS, August 19, 2003 –
The Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra has announced the
launch of their new website, located at www.gulfcoastsymphony.net.
Features of the site include the Symphony’s 2003-2004
season schedule, special events calendar, ticket information,
history, musicians, directors, sponsors, patrons, management,
sample audio clips, and more.
Natalie Robohm, Executive Director of
the Symphony, supervised the site’s creation,
and said the site has already generated a lot of positive
feedback. “I’m very pleased,” she
said. “We wanted our website to have a completely
new look reflecting the creativity and uniqueness of
our musicians, and I believe we accomplished that goal.”
She stated the site furthers the Symphony’s mission
to bring quality music to the people of the Mississippi
Gulf Coast.
The site was designed and programmed
by U.S. NetworX, a web services firm with clients in
37 states and several foreign countries. “We created
a unique design that is both pleasing to the eye and
extremely functional,” said Kristen Fowler, Director
of Operations at U.S. NetworX. “We developed an
easy-to-use menu system that enables each user to quickly
find the information he or she needs with minimal effort.”
The Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra was

supported entirely by ticket sales and private contributions.
Their 42nd season of live performances begins Saturday,
September 13.
