Affinity Internet Names Communications Veteran New CEO [14th April 2003]

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Apr 14, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Affinity Internet Inc., the third largest web hosting provider, has appointed Peter Chambers as CEO of the company. Chambers will be responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the company.

Chambers has an extensive background in the communications industry, having worked in both executive management and advisory roles with service providers and solutions developers.

Prior to joining Affinity, Chambers was the CEO of Redfern Broadband Networks, a telecommunication solutions provider. Previously, he was the CFO and treasurer of LHS Group Inc., a customer care and billing solutions company. Chambers has also served as vice president director at PT Excelcomindo, an Indonesian GSM cellular service provider.

Chambers began his career in the communications industry with Coopers and Lybrand Consulting, where he was an executive director in the company's Asian telecommunications practice.

Chambers holds a bachelor of business and finance degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.
