Announces Agreement With Logicworks [10th April
2003]
NEW
YORK, Apr 10, 2003 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/
-- FiberNet Telecom Group, Inc. (FTGX) , a leading provider
of metropolitan optical connectivity, announced today
it has completed an agreement with Logicworks, a private
New York-based managed hosting provider to deliver colocation
and metro Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel transport
services. These services extend Logicworks' network
throughout New York City and New Jersey allowing Logicworks
to expand its service offerings throughout the New York
metro market.
Joe
Leuci, Senior Vice President - Sales & Marketing
of FiberNet said, "We are very pleased to be able
to offer both our colocation and transport solutions
to a managed hosting provider such as Logicworks, further
diversifying our customer base. This is evidence that
the portfolio of FiberNet services adds value across
industries."
Carter
Burden, Logicworks' President and CEO said, "FiberNet
provides the ideal infrastructure platform for Logicworks'
managed hosting services and enables new offerings,
such as stretched SAN solutions, which have not previously
been available in a managed hosting environment. Our
partnership with FiberNet gives our customers unprecedented
flexibility in selecting diverse locations for their
managed dedicated servers, which is highly desirable
for both disaster recovery and compliance-driven data
warehousing needs. Logicworks' outsourced solutions
provide customers with a level of reliability, security,
and manageability that would be either impossible or
prohibitively expensive for them to replicate on their
own."
