HostingCon
2005 to Feature Keynotes by Four Industry Leaders
[May 31, 2005]
HostingCon,
the premier conference for hosting professionals, will
be held June 6-7, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in
Rosemont, Illinois. HostingCon will host four keynote
addresses delivered by high profile hosting industry
executives.
Sandip Gupta, President and CEO of Ensim
Corporation, will present "The Convergence Revolution
-- Hosting Beyond Web Sites and Email" on June
6 at 9:00 a.m. This session will highlight how the widespread
adoption of broadband access and mobility is evolving
prosumer and SMB requirements and fueling the need for
convergence across today's service provider industry,
including the growing demand for high value applications
as a service.
At 2:30 p.m. on June 6, Robert Marsh,
CEO and Head Surfer of Everyone's Internet, will deliver
"You, Too, Can Achieve Web Hosting Growth and Profitability."
Mr. Marsh will share insights on how he turned a small
local dialup company into a $75 million/year business.
Highlights include strategies for funding growth, managing
transition into new markets, and overcoming some of
the toughest challenges EV1 has faced.
Serguei Beloussov, President and CEO
of SWsoft, will provide a worldwide hosting market overview
and then present trends that will broadly impact the
industry and its participants on June 7 at 9:00 a.m.
His keynote, "Short and Long-term Futures in Hosting
and Automation," will describe futures for hosting
automation and virtualization and how hosting providers
of all sizes can benefit. Serguei will also present
a brief update on SWsoft futures and introduce the company's
integration strategy called Fusion.
The final keynote on June 7 at 3:00
p.m. will be delivered by Pascal Martin, General Manager
for Hosting Solutions at Microsoft Corporation. "The
Benefits of Web Hosting" will discuss the benefits
of hosting for both service providers and small and
medium businesses. Demand for applications such as email,
messaging and collaboration continues to grow rapidly.
For service providers, this presents opportunities to
generate new revenue streams by offering software as
a service to their small and medium business customers.
Attendees also will have access to 24
conference sessions during the two-day conference. The
exhibit hall will be filled with over 50 exhibitors
focused on products and services for hosting providers.
