Host Color Upgrades Web Hosting Plans [March 24, 2005]

Web hosting provider Host Color (hostcolor.com) has upgraded its premium web hosting plans - Max Pack and Mega Pack. Both the Mega and Max plans have been equipped with new anti-spam and antivirus software.

Web hosting provider Host Color has upgraded its premium web hosting plans - Max Pack and Mega Pack.

The company has doubled the Max Pack's monthly bandwidth and added 200 MB more space to the service. Now this plan comes with 500 MB disc space and 20 GB of monthly bandwidth. Customers can use up to 10 MySQL databases (each database can have an unlimited number of tables).

Mega Pack customers now get 1GB of disc space, 50 GB bandwidth and 30 MySQL databases. Host Color has also recently added SSH to the Mega pack hosting service. Another bonus to this plan are the 2 free additional months of hosting each customer gets.

Both the Mega and Max plans have been equipped with new anti-spam and antivirus software. The company has beefed up its email service by deploying Clam antivirus and Spam Assassin - two leading Linux email protection solutions. The mail scanner service is deployed on a specialized server designed to significantly improve performance. Users have the ability to turn scanning features off through Host Color's Next Color control panel.
