HostColor.com Acquires a Small Budget Hosting Company [March 8, 2005]

Host Color (hostcolor.com), a leading hosting provider on the shared web hosting market has reached an agreement to acquire 60 Host (60host.com) - a small budget web hosting company. Recently 60 Host installed the new Next Color control panel developed and owned by Host Color LLC.

Host Color (hostcolor.com), a leading hosting provider on the shared web hosting market has reached an agreement to acquire 60 Host (60host.com) - a small budget web hosting company. Recently 60 Host installed the new Next Color control panel developed and owned by Host Color LLC.

60 Host is a smaller web hosting company with about 500 customers that targets small business website owners. The company offers one standard web hosting plan that includes 600 Mb of web space and 6 GB monthy bandwidth. After the acquisition Host Color LLC will add more features to 60Host's standard hosting plan such as Secure Shell, Site optimization service and etc.

"We have been attracted by the positive image that 60 Host has built. Although it is a small company they have succeeded to target their market very effectively and we believe we could develop this hosting brand even more", says the Host Color's Executive Director Vesselin Drangajov.

Offering a single web hosting plan may be considered risky because potential customers have their choices reduced. The main advantage however is that customers can make a prompt decision over the purchase. It also allows the company to easily define the production costs and to optimize the service process, support and it's own administrative work. Some of the industry leaders provide only one web hosting plan. We have decided to test this business model. At the same time we want to keep providing different web hosting plans under our parent brand of HostColor. We decided to go out on the market and to search for a small host with a good reputation - and we came to 60host.

We are going to contribute our know-how to the process of delivering 60Host's service. We will also install our new sofware to serve 60Host packages. Host Color LLC will however keep 60Host's business model and the price in stay in the budget service area - under $5 per month.
