Internet America Announces Acquisition of My
Linux ISP [November 2, 2004]

-- Internet America, Inc. (GEEK), a leading Internet
service provider, today announced that it has acquired
the assets of My Linux ISP, a Houston, Texas based ISP
primarily serving business customers.
Privately-held
My Linux ISP was started in 1999 to provide Internet
access solutions and related services to businesses
and individuals looking for a high-quality service provider.
My Linux ISP currently provides high-speed Internet
access to approximately 1,500 residential and corporate
customers. As part of the acquisition, Brian Walters,
My Linux ISP's founder, will become the Director of
Operations - Houston for Internet America.

acquisition is the third one announced by Internet America
