VocalData's Application Server to Expand Its VoIP Offerings

hosted IP telephony solutions, today announced that
Cinergy Communications, a leading regional communications
service provider, has selected the VocalData Application
Server to support its enterprise hosted VoIP service,
available to business customers throughout Indiana,
Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio.
Cinergy Communications has been trialing
competing application servers for more than a year.
Following an exhaustive evaluation the VocalData Application
Server was selected to support the rollout of their
commercial service. Using the VocalData Application
Server, Cinergy Communications will deliver a significantly
enhanced portfolio of enhanced IP voice, fax, data and
video services to small and medium-sized businesses
as well as provide a hosted PBX solution to mid-size
and large enterprise customers.
Using the VocalData Application Server,
Cinergy Communications can also now give its customers
access to a much wider choice of IP phones -- at a price
that makes sound business sense -- as well as more robust
fail-over redundancy to eliminate any chances of downtime.
