USA ( www.vianetworks.net ), an Atlanta-based managed
Web hosting company and the local U.S. operation of
VIA NET.WORKS, Inc. today announced a new, affordable
self-managed dedicated server web hosting platform featuring
.NET.
VIA USA's self-managed offering provides
customers with full root or administrative access of
servers to self-maintain and self-manage servers as
well as install and manage custom or third-party applications.
The three plans offered by VIA, starting at $129.95,
offer full hardware maintenance and 24-hour technical
support.
With each plan, VIA provides initial
installation and configuration of the server, including
the Operating System (OS) and any supported applications.
Following installation, the servers are then handed
off to customers to manage. An a la carte menu is also
offered to customers featuring RAM upgrades, additional
IDE HD, SCSI HD, higher levels of system administration
service and software upgrades including ColdFusion MX,
.NET Framework, standard and/or enterprise SQL 2000,
expanded iMail accounts, Urchin 5.0, Windows Advanced
Server and Authenticated Windows.
