has selected GeoTrust to provide SSL digital certificate
products and services to its network of merchant customers.
The partnership will allow CPS-Datensysteme to offer
its merchant customer base the ability to secure their
online transactions using highly trusted 128 bit SSL
encryption.
The
partnership gives CPS-Datensysteme the ability to directly
provide its merchant customers with GeoTrust Europe's
QuickSSL PremiumT, True BusinessIDT and True BusinessID
WildcardT certificates. QuickSSL Premium offers strong
128 bit encryption in as little as 10 minutes, providing
the fastest provisioning of professional quality SSL
available today. GeoTrust's QuickSSL Premium comes packaged
with a "Smart Seal" for display on the SSL
certificate owner's web site. The Smart Seal guarantees
online customers they will receive the highest levels
of encryption possible, and assures customers that credit
card numbers and other confidential information cannot
be intercepted or altered.

BusinessID is a combined solution of both a traditional
128 bit SSL certificate and a True Site "Smart
Seal". The True Site product ensures a site's legitimacy
with a dynamically generated site seal image including
the company name of the site owner and a time/date stamp.
Also available through CPS-Datensysteme will be True
BusinessID Wildcard, providing all the features of True
BusinessID but includes a single SSL certificate that
can be used to secure multiple sub domains, eliminating
the need for a web site to manage multiple SSL certificates
across multiple sub domains.
