C
I Host Launches ServerProtect(tm), Helps Customers Grow
Successfully [March 2, 2004]
FORT
WORTH, TX (March 2, 2004) - To help its dedicated server
customers protect their investments in their servers
as their businesses grow and expand, C I Host has launched
a Life Cycle Program called ServerProtectT.
ServerProtectT
does what the name implies - through the life cycle
of each business with a dedicated server package, dedicated-server
account managers keep track of the online activity and
monitor whether the hardware, software and bandwidth
that the business has is sufficient to meet its changing
needs.
"Businesses
grow and change, and what you need today may not be
what you will need in the future," said Christopher
Faulkner, CEO of C I Host. "We want to be there
to assist growing companies as success brings more hits
to their Web site and more transactions to process."
If
a company outgrows its hardware, the very success it
is enjoying could become a problem if the hardware can't
handle the extra traffic and the site becomes slow or
even crashes.
"This
is a proactive program that allows us to continue to
tailor dedicated solutions to ever-changing dynamic
businesses," Faulkner said. "Instead of waiting
until the server is overloaded, we are getting in front
of the curve and staying ahead of problems."
In
the LifeCycle ServerProtect(tm) program, C I Host has
developed a step-by-step process to monitor a business'
online growth. The program is free with every dedicated
server.
a.. Twenty days after a customer signs
up for service, a dedicated-server
account manager will call to ensure the server is up
and running properly
and that the customer has all the information required.
b.. Every six months, the dedicated-server account manager
will call to go
over server usage and determine where the company is
in its growth model to
be able to project future needs and usage requirements.
The account manager
also talks with the customer about new technology and
services entering
market place that could help the business.
c.. Every 12 months from the contract activation date,
C I Host will apply
a credit to customers' accounts to enable them to upgrade
their servers if
needed and take advantage of the best of the current
hardware.
"We don't just sell hardware. We sell our customers
a partnership to ensure
that their business is an online success." Faulkner
said. "By outsourcing to
C I Host, a business is getting a team of experts committed
to assisting
them through the digital world and enabling them to
focus on their core
competencies."
